So here I am... blogging!
Not sure what to blog about really... I could just tell you what I've been doing.... but as I don't do a great deal that would be rather boring!
I could tell you what I've been thinking about.... but I'm not sure I want that to go public... not all of it anyway!
I know I'll tell you more about me!
Who am I.... funny... that's what we looked at at church last night... I am a spiritual person... who is alive in Christ.... but what does that mean?
That means that I live for Christ... well actually it means that I try my best to. Being super spiritual isn't gonna help anyone... so I'm gonna be real.
OK normal ways I describe me….
I am a student in my third year of uni (ARGH!)
I work at a nursery
I am a Christian
I am Liz’s daughter
I am tall and skinny (although not abnormally on either count!)
I’m not sure what colour my hair is, I must go and see my hairdresser and make it a colour again!
So who am I in God?
Well I am His child and a member of His family
I am pure and blameless in his sight (thanks to Jesus!)
I have been chosen by Him, and I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Apart from maybe my zillions of essays!)
God has a plan and a purpose for my life, I’m not 100% sure what that is yet, but it’s exciting! I have to keep reminding myself of this coz I feel quite lost at the moment, as Pooh would say “I am foolish and deluded”
So… in other news…. It hailed today…. It is April, the spring has supposed to have sprung, the flowers are starting to bloom and it cheers me up no end… so why on earth is it hailing?!!!! April brings the sweet spring showers….. on and on for hours and hours! I did not know that included hail, but hey, you learn something new everyday.
I see this writing has no structure, that worries me…. Are my essays like this?!
I went to Shelley’s house last night… her new car is beautiful. We did a bible study thing and learnt about God’s glory… it was great, although very challenging too. It was in A Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, day 7 if you want to read it.
I am going to get a drink now... coffee probably, then write more essay! Pray for me, I need to get in the zone!
